Well I am delighted to finally share with you all the news that our advert is finally up in the Attis Arena/Glanford Park stadium, home of Scunthorpe United FC!
As part of the deal which was struck with the club, when we sponsored the shirt-sleeve for this coming season, we were entitled to have a banner in the stadium in a prominent position, where many inside it could see it clearly.
We were given a number of local printers to contact, and after some deliberation we chose one called FreshPrint, not least because it could be done at short notice and at a competitive price.
I went round to their premises, where the owner Simon and I discussed the requirements & design.
At the club, we were shown the location for our advert, which was among those which are placed along the top part of the Mortz Stand. Previously, it was occupied by a company called Wheelie Clean.
Just recently, Simon brought round the finished banner to the stadium…
Soon afterwards, the club had their chosen contractors come to erect the banner into its new place, with Friends of Pakati now proudly in place, on display for the whole of the 2026/27 season.
Job done!
