Fantastic news – Pakati student wins at Provincial athletics competition!

I have had reports from Pakati Secondary school staff telling me how well the 3 athletes did at the Provincial competition this week – and all 3 managed to medal!

One of the 3 managed an outright win – that was Paidamoyo Lynn Mutemeri in the u-18 girls 400m race – so CONGRATULATIONS/MAKOROKOTO !!

So full results for the 3 girls are as follows:

Winnie Masiya – 3rd place/Bronze -u-18 girls Triple Jump

Winnie – Bronze

Beauty Mugule – 3rd place/Bronze – u-18 girls Javelin

Beauty – Bronze

Lynn Mutemeri – 1st place/Gold – u-18 girls 400m

Lynn will now progress to the National finals, scheduled to be held on 24-27 March, once more at Peterhouse school, near Marondera. She will be accompanied by at least 1 teacher from Pakati, and I will update on here as soon as I hear of the results.
