Electricity fully Restored!

As we have reported in earlier posts, all electrical power to Pakati Secondary school was recently lost (see https://friendsofpakati.com/2021/03/22/urgent-help-needed-power-supply-problems/) though Solar power was recently fixed (see https://friendsofpakati.com/2021/03/30/power-to-pakati-update/) leaving just the mains supply.

It is great to report that power has now been fully restored at Pakati Secondary school! Engineers from the national energy suppliers, ZESA (Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority), came out to the school this week to repair the connection.

They came in their truck on Wednesday 31st March. Below is the picture of why they were needed – the supporting pole had come down, severing the connection to the school.

The ZESA officals also addressd the issue of electricity and safety to all studentd present at Pakati Secondary school, see below.
