An update….

This week & weekend I have just begun using facebook in earnest…as a result I have been in contact with a number of former students of Pakati Secondary School, including some whose names I recall from when I taught there. I recognise a number of the family names, so it is easy to work on the assumption that some are siblings or cousins so would also have attended the school.

I have gained followers from my work colleagues and from friends I know from the football team I support (Scunthorpe United). Yet again I find myself amazed at the responses I get, but also how quickly the facebook account http://facebook.com/Friends-of-pakati can help gather useful contacts.

It has resulted in increased traffic to the website http://friendsofpakati.com and a number of small donations to the fundraising page http://Gofundme.com/friends-of-pakati so thank you one and all.

Please keep sending the messages and links out to your friends & followers, dont forget the twitter feed http://Twitter.com/friendsofpakati or to email friendsofpakati@gmail.com if you have any comnents or questions.
