Hi everyone!
As we are trying to raise £1600 to have both Pakati schools become fully electrified, one of our supporters agreed to come on our podcast this week.
We recorded a brief message….
To help us reach the target, please donate what you can here https://gofund.me/830c22d52
To find out more about the campaign, please see here: https://friendsofpakati.com/2026/09/07/appeal-for-1600-by-friends-of-pakati/
I recently sat down with fellow fan of the Iron Ryan Middleton at his home in Bottesford, talking about his journey into sports journalism, and we also discussed how he came to support Friends of Pakati.
Below is the recording we made of our meeting, so I hope you enjoy it!
For the above event, Ryan generously donated a signed shirt from the 2025/26 season for us to help raise funds for Friends of Pakati…
…which we had framed & displayed at our stall at the event.
It helped us raise a fantastic total of £692 in total….
…and as if that wasn’t enough, he also bought raffle tickets on the day!
At the end of the meeting, Ryan then kindly offered me another signed shirt to raffle off to help raise more funds…
…full details of the raffle & how to enter to be announced during next week.
As a thank you to Ryan, here is a link to the Luke Walsh Football Podcast where he is a co-presenter http://www.youtube.com/@lukewalsh2007
Thanks Ryan!
