I recently heard from Oscar Bumhe (Road Project Chairman) about the ongoing road development which affects residents of Ward 14, Murewa (see https://friendsofpakati.com/2020/10/18/developments-in-ward-14-home-of-pakati-schools/ ). This area is Mukurazhizha area, 2km from the tarred road. The development began where the shops are are, at the 44-mile marker along the Harare-Mutoko road.

Here is what the finished product looks like. Two areas have now been completed, with 3 remaining.
It is great news for local residents and businesses to have these improvements to the infrastructure, making transport easier, especially during the seasonal rains. Still s fair bit to do, but progress is definitely being made.
